This recipe is a combination of Rice,Tur dal and Bengal gram added to dried chillies,pepper corns, asafoetida and salt to taste. This is the basic ingredients in which any greens, onions is added to the batter and shredded coconut is topped while making Adai. The authentic way of flattening a ball of batter with fingers on tawa adds special taste to the recipe. My Amma loves to eat this Adai as it is . It can be also served with jaggery,tomato chutney or coconut chutney.
