  11. 2 cups milk
  12. 1/2 stick butter
  13. parsley for garnish

Steps to make a Clam Chowder

Saute bacon, onion & green pepper.

Add potato, water or clamp juice, salt and pepper (I always add a little cayenne pepper).

Simmer 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Add clams, simmer 8 to 10 minutes.

Add corn and 1/2 & 1/2. Mix flour into milk and stir into mix. Simmer until thickened.

Stir in butter and garnish with parsley.
