Ingredients and spices that need to be prepared to make Disc-O-Paneer:

  1. 10 piece white sandwich bread
  2. 1/2 cup crumbled cottage cheese (paneer)
  3. 1 onion finely chopped
  4. 1 small tomato, de seeded and finely chopped
  5. 1/4 cup sweet corn
  6. 1 small green bell pepper finely chopped
  7. 4 tablespoon grated proceeded cheese
  8. 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  9. 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  10. 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  11. 1/2 teaspoon mixed dried herbs
  12. to taste Salt
  13. For Spread
  14. 2 tablespoon butter
  15. 3-4 tablespoon tomato sauce
  16. 1 tbsp grated cheese
  17. 2 tbsp butter for brushing

Steps to make a Disc-O-Paneer

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. Meanwhile in a mixing bowl take crumbled cottage cheese. To it add all the veggies and mix well.

Add 3 tablespoon grated processed cheese, chilli flakes, black pepper powder, mix herbs, coriander leaves, salt and tomato sauce to the vegetable paneer mixture and mix well. Taste the mix and adjust the seasonings as per taste. Our stuffing is ready.

For the spread, in a bowl take butter. Add 1 tbsp grated cheese and tomato ketchup and mix well. Our spread is ready.

Using a big round cookie cutter, cut roundels from the bread slices.

Now using a small cookie cutter or sharp lid, cut out roundels from half of the big roundels to get bread rings.

Now apply the spread over the roundels and place rings over them and press lightly. Fill remaining bread rings with the stuffing and apply butter on the edges of each bread rings.

Spread some grated cheese over it.

Arrange them in a greased baking tray. Bake the discs in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are crisp and golden.

Serve the delicious tempting cheesy vegetable discs immediately.
