Corn Bread Using a Bread Maker (2 Varieties)

I wasn't able to get rid of my canned corn, so I used it to make side dish bread! I thought up 2 types and tried making them. They didn't turn out half bad, so I uploaded them. I used corn and mayonnaise for the filling this time, but you can use what you like, so please try out various things. It tastes great as a custard cream bread as well! I made it with baked curry bread in mind while using corn meal! If you use curry for the filling, coat in bread crumbs, and fry it, then it will turn into curry bread . Please adjust the amount of bread dough according to the amount of filling. Recipe by Gomeko

I wanted to make an easy and nutritious soup that goes well with bread for breakfast or brunch. Adjust the milk and salt depending on the type of canned cream corn you use. It's also delicious with potatoes when stir frying the onions. The soup will nicely thicken as the dried macaroni is directly added to the pot without boiling them beforehand. Recipe by Kyarameri-na

The past few months, it's been all about Indian-style curries in our house, so the time seemed right to get back to some Thai-inspired flavours. Normally I would've made my own curry paste, but having been Halloween, time was at a premium and convenience won out. The recipe below is pretty mild heat-wise (for my daughter), so feel free to throw a chili or two into the mix to spice it up.

This recipe ultimately originates from the first cookbook I ever owned (Fast, Fresh, and Delicious, Time-Life Books, 1996, ISBN 0-7835-4862-1) which I'd been mining for recipes ever since I first got it almost 20 years ago. This is the first time I ever tried making this one though, and the gravy recipe is entirely my own.

Corn Silky String Soup

Corn Silky String Soup

I found out that you can eat the silky strings of corn and decided to try using them like harusame noodles. In all honesty, they didn't really turn out like harusame noodles at all but I did like their crisp texture. Corn is often used as a diuretic and the silky strings can be found in all sorts of Chinese medicine so please give them a try. You can use the silky strings in tea but I also like using them as vegetables. Throwing them away is such a waste. By the way, it's a bit strange but this soup doesn't even taste anything like corn. Soy Sauce Corn and Mayonnaise On Toast

There are a lot of corn and mayo on toast recipes, but I've never seen one with soy sauce added, so I uploaded it here. It's a flavor I love. This is easy. There's no need for any other ingredients. These ingredients alone are delicious. The corn does tend to fall off while you're eating this, so have a plate underneath. Recipe by Midorenja-
