The dough is also loaded with corn grits. Easy and delicious, with just a small amount of yeast! The surface will feel more grainy if you coat them with corn grits. They will have a smoother texture if you coat them cornmeal. Use either one you like. I used corn grits this time. Recipe by Tkmami-

This recipe is geared more towards the budding chefs in our community just learning to cook. It's also versitile allowing you to make it relatively simple. Or, with a little more effort, even better! Feel free to employ the fresh vegetables [instead of canned] and the spice and herb options listed in the ingredients section below in order to do that. Or, just mix it up and add your own herbs & spices! If I may? A quick tip. Green Tabasco goes great on this dish!

Mixed Veggie Sabji (Stir Fried Veggies)

-I was able to make a delicious Sabji that goes with curry using the vegetables that I had in my fridge. -I thought I could use a moderate amount of everyday oil and spices that are used in Indian cooking and easy on the stomach and large intestines. However, the more popular version is to use a smaller amount of spices since it's better for your health. -It's good even without Paneer -If you want to shorten the cooking time, then I recommend when cooking the carrot portion of the recipe, you can prep it by boiling it in a separate pot. -Rather than relying on the same vegetables, try making it with different ones. That is the purpose of this versatile recipe! Recipe by Plabar

Apple Cardamom Pound Cake- low histamine, gluten free, dairy-free, vegan, corn free

Apple Cardamom Pound Cake- low histamine, gluten free, dairy-free, vegan, corn free

My baby boy wanted an apple cake for his birthday, and cardamom is more suitable for his low-histamine diet than cinnamon, so voilà! It is a pleasant autumn flavor that nods to the season almost upon us. The dense cake is full of juicy apple chunks and it is so enjoyable to eat warm with the sweet maple cream icing mixing with the vanilla frozen dessert. As for the decorations....my 4 year old wanted a space theme (obviously) but rejected the number 4 for a 100 atop his cake because that is his favorite number. My husband pointed out, however, that 100 still represents the number 4 in binary language. So, it works, I guess 😳! Tip: If you want the cake to retain the softness it comes out the oven with, seal in the moisture by covering every inch of it in the maple cream icing and leave at room temperature on the day of serving at a party. Since we are following a low histamine diet for health reasons, we throw the cake (what is left after immediately eating) into the freezer and nuke it in the microwave for 30 seconds when we want another serving.
