  2. 1/4 cup corn grits
  3. 2 green chili finely chopped (change as per taste)

  8. pinch mustard seeds
  9. pinch asafoetida powder (optional)
  10. dry grated coconut for garnish

Finely grind corn kernels and thoroughly mix corn grits with it. Keep aside for a few min so that corn grits will absorb sweet corn juices.

Take a wide nonstick pan on medium heat, pour oil. Once it is hot add mustard seeds, let them pop.

Then add asafoetida (optional). Reduce heat and add green chili, turmeric and coriander powder.

To this add corn and salt as per taste, mix well. Let it cook on low or medium heat. Keep stirring it continuously, do not let it stick to the bottom.
