  8. 3 tablespoons chilli powder
  9. 1 teaspoon smokey paprika
  10. 1 teaspoon Cayanne pepper
  11. 1 medium onion or dried onion flakes about 3 tablespoons
  12. 1 can mushrooms
  13. 1 teaspoon salt
  14. 1 teaspoon pepper

Steps to make a Chilli

Fry your ground beef, mushrooms and onion's or flakes and add 1 tablespoon of chilli powder together

Drain your kidney beans and tomatoes, then add to your slow cooker add your pork and beans, corn, smokey paprika and Cayanne pepper, salt and pepper, and the rest of your chilli powder,tomato soup and tomato sauce

Once your ground beef is cooked add to your slow cooker and cook for up to 8 hrs on low, Adjust your spices and liquid to your taste

Serve with shredded cheese and nacho chips or rice both ways are good

My hubby usually brings back few cans of beer from his office during chinese new year but we don't usually drink beer. So the beers are just sitting there in my kitchen cabinet. One day, someone posted in facebook that he roasted the chicken with beer. So I decided to try it out and wow... We LOVE it. The meat is super tender, juicy, the skin is crispy and the seasoning is just perfect. The roasted veggies are also very yummy. My youngest son even finished all the purple sweet potatoes (He dont usually like purple sweet potatoes). The kids love it, hubby loves it. This recipe will be used over and over again! In this recipe, I used tiger white beer (the one I had at home). Next time will probably use other type of beer. Not very sure whether the different type of beer will give different flavour to the roasted chicken, some people says it doesnt really matter. But will give it a try next time.
