Shin's Vegetable Salad Hot Pot

Shin's Vegetable Salad Hot Pot

This is still a hot pot meal. If possible, make it in an earthenware pot. The warm veggies will taste even better when garnished with grainy mustard and/or coarsely ground black pepper. Using consommé soup stock instead of chicken soup stock should work too. For 4 servings. Recipe by shin.

This is a reproduction of the delicious fish tacos that I ate in San Diego. Some of the ingredients may be hard to find in Japan, but you can try going to import shops like Kaldi, Kinokuniya, or Seijo-Ishii, where you can easily find them. Replace the cilantro with other herbs if you like. Recipe by chieren

Nutty Rooty Macaroni- low histamine, gluten free, dairy-free, corn free

We don’t miss the cheesy taste that nutritional yeast brings after eating this macaroni dish full of complex flavor- roots and nuts for the win! Of course you can substitute dried for fresh spices as needed, we were just lucky to find fresh turmeric root at the grocery store this week. I’mein planning on adding thinly sliced pork belly to the sheet pan next time I do this recipe !

Hawaiian ☆ Paniolo Cornbread

Hawaiian ☆ Paniolo Cornbread

Paniolo in Hawaiian means "cowboy." My friend in Maui made me paniolo cornbread, and it was so good, I asked for the recipe immediately. I slightly simplified it and converted the measurement into grams so it can also be made easily in Japan. If you are using thick coconut cream, use 240 ml coconut milk and 60 ml water. If you can't get crushed pineapple, while it may be a bit troublesome, finely chop up fresh pineapple instead. Adjust the baking time according to your oven (1 cup is equal to 240 ml). Taiwanese Danbing-style Breakfast Crepe with Egg and Flour

Taiwanese Danbing-style Breakfast Crepe with Egg and Flour

When I was looking at some pictures of Taiwanese breakfasts, and I got a sudden craving for it so I just came up with my own. Adjust the thickness of danbing by adding or reducing the amount of water you use. Make your own danbing to suit your preferences; it's chewy and delicious. For about 4 crepes. Recipe by mua_jo

Easy Snack No Proofing, Fluffy Mini Pizza Bread

Easy Snack No Proofing, Fluffy Mini Pizza Bread

I tried making pizza remembering the recipe for crispy crust pizza dough without proofing. I used it before to make pizza for my daughter who felt like eating pizza all of sudden I tried making the same pizza dough from my vague memory and I happened to make fluffy and chewy delicious pizza crust. My daughter loved it, so I measured the ingredients later to remember. They key is to bake the pizza until the surface becomes a little bit hard. When it's cooled, it will become chewier I tried doubling the amount of ingredients and baking 2 pizzas at the same time, but the texture was different. Using exactly the amount of ingredients as listed this recipe and baking them one by one definitely makes these pizzas more delicious. The dough might be sensitive to the temperature of your room. If the texture feels like focaccia after baking, it's perfect. Recipe by Momonoyasashiikaori

Danbing (Taiwanese-Style Breakfast)

Danbing (Taiwanese-Style Breakfast)

I had danbing in Taiwan, so I tried to copy the real version at home. It didn't change much though. Since there weren't too many changes from the last danbing recipe I posted, so if you saw the previous version don't worry. It goes really well with soy milk. Give it a try! Make the skin as thin as possible. Adjust the cooking time to preference. The pre-made danbing skin that I brought home had sesame seeds and green onions, so I added it to the recipe. It contains a lot of vitamin E! But it is fine without it. The skin is very thin and cooks in no time! I almost scorched them while taking the picture. Recipe by mua_jo
