I had danbing in Taiwan, so I tried to copy the real version at home. It didn't change much though. Since there weren't too many changes from the last danbing recipe I posted, so if you saw the previous version don't worry. It goes really well with soy milk. Give it a try!   1. To make the skin:
  2. 60 grams Flour
  3. 10 grams Katakuriko
  4. 133 ml Water
  5. 2 pinch Salt
  6. 1 pinch Sugar (can be omitted)
  7. 1 dash less than 1 teaspoons or more (to taste) Sesame seeds (optional)
  8. 2 tsp or more (to taste) Finley chopped green onions (optional)
  9. For the topping:
  10. 2 Eggs
  11. 1 dash Salt (if desired)
  12. 1 as much (to taste) Green onion or scallions
  13. 1 Toppings such as cheese, corn, meat, or vegetables
  14. 1 Soy sauce

Steps to make a Danbing (Taiwanese-Style Breakfast)

Combine all the ingredients for the skin. Heat oil in a skillet, thinly spread a little less than a ladleful of batter and pan-fry it.

Turn it over and pan-fry the other side. Take it out of the skillet and set it aside.

In the same skillet, cook the beaten egg (you will prepare 1 serving at a time, so divide the amount of egg to cook).

When the egg is half-way cooked, lay the skin from Step 2 on top.
