Super Simple Chinese Corn Soup
When I'm making a Chinese side dish like gyoza or harumaki, I always make this. Measuring all of the ingredients in the can from the canned corn gives you fewer dishes to wash. This method I learned from my mother can also be applied to other uses. Since this method only uses a small amount of water, you barely need any salt. This method results in a very brightly colored and flavorful corn. Since it uses only a small amount of water with a short boiling time, it's perfect for hot summer days.
