  8. 1 teaspoon garlic
  9. 1 teaspoon oregano
  10. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  11. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  12. cube Knorr Chicken
  13. 1 teaspoon coriander
  14. 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  15. 3 tablespoons coconut milk
  16. Water
  17. Salt

Steps to make a Githeri

Saute the onion and the spring onion

Add tomatoes and Simmer for 5 minutes then add the spices, soy sauce and the garlic.

Then add the Githeri (Pre Boiled Maize and Beans), salt and water at the same level with the Githeri in the sufuria. Let it cook for 20 minutes the add the coconut milk and switch off the cooker.
