I attempted to make a vegetarian chili by referencing a recipe that my husband found. You can use any kind of vegetables. I recommend keeping the kidney beans, corn, mushrooms, and onions, but the rest of the vegetables can be varied. Throw in many kinds of leftover vegetables! Recipe by popo

Tender Stir-fried Bamboo Shoot and Chicken

Tender Stir-fried Bamboo Shoot and Chicken

When I was about 20 years old, I ate a Chinese bamboo and chicken stir-fry in Yokohama. It was really good, so I tried to create something similar. I often use cheap chicken breast meat, but it still turns out tender when coated with a lot of katakuriko and sake. If you make it without corn, it won't be sweet enough, so add some more mirin instead. I used vegetables which cook easily, but if you are using other vegetables, be careful not to let them burn. If it looks like anything is about to get scorched, add some sake. Before seasoning it with salt at the end, make sure to check the taste first. Only add salt if you think you need some. Easy English Muffiins in the Bread Maker

Easy English Muffiins in the Bread Maker

I modified a recipe that I was taught when I bought some new muffin moulds. I cross-referenced the amounts with the size of the moulds that I had at home and simplified the numbers a bit to make this recipe. Be careful not to burn yourself when removing the muffins from the moulds. If you don't care about the height of the muffins, you can make them without the moulds. If you don't have an oven tray to place over the muffin moulds, then you can use any heat-resistant tray instead. If you're using aluminium foil, make sure to make a secure lid for each individual mould. If you don't use any type of lid the muffins will be really dense. Recipe by hirokoh
