Seen request for recipe. Name was interesting so I Googled it. There are a lot of recipes. I took 5 and looked over them. I too one that seen good. Took long time to make but good, I adapted to what I had on hand.

  4. 3 cup chicken broth
  5. 3 clove garlic, whole

  8. 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  9. 1 cup diced onion
  10. 1 cup diced carrots
  11. 1 cup diced celery
  12. 1 clove minced garlic
  13. 3 potatoes, peeled and diced
  14. 3/4 tsp salt
  15. 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
  16. 1/4 tsp black pepper
  17. 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  18. 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
  19. 3/4 tsp lemon zest
  20. 1 can green beans, drained, about (15 oz.) can
  21. 1 can peas, drained, about (15 oz.) can
  22. 1 can corn, drained about(15 oz.) can
  23. 1/2 head green cabbage
  24. 1 can diced tomatoes, about (15 oz.) can

Steps to make a Booyah Chicken

Place chicken, beef, and pork in big pot. Add 3 cloves of garlic. Also add chicken broth and and bay leaf, and enough water to cover meat. Bring to boil, cover and turn down to simmer. Simmer 2 hours

Salute onions, carrots, and celery in vegetable oil.

Take meat out and cut into bite size. Place back into broth. Add salute vegetables and potatoes, and cabbage

Add all spices bring back to boil, then down to simmer and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, until potatoes and cabbage is tender

Add drained canned vegetables and cook until heated through.

I forgot to get parsley but one recipe had 1/2 cup chopped parsley at end of cooking

Another recipe using store bought pie shells. I was inspired when I tried Costco's Shepherd Pot Pie. Of course, I always want to make something my own way. Feel free to do your own thing! I ended up combining different recipes to end up with this one. Let me know if you try it, and any tips! I made enough for 4; baked 2, then will bake other 2 later. To keep things simple, I microwaved frozen packaged mashed potatoes. However, you can make your own. I would mash with a hand mixer using sour cream, 1 egg yolk, & some parmesan cheese.
